Obituary for Thomas O. Quigley

Hardyston Twp., NJ: Thomas Oswald Quigley, 100 years old, died after a short illness at his home on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Born to Thomas M. and Paulette Quigley in Bronx, NY, he had lived in the Parkchester section of the Bronx, NY before moving to Hardyston Twp., NJ 11 years ago.

Mr. Quigley worked as a banker for Chase Bank in Bronx, NY for 37 years before retiring in 1976. He was a parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle RC Church in Hamburg, NJ and enjoyed reading, sports and playing tennis.

Mr. Quigley was predeceased by his wife, Adrienne M. Quigley(1999), a sister, Helen McCarthy(2009) and a grandson, Thomas J. Magazeno(2009) and was the devoted father of Adrienne M. Donnelly of Stanford, CT and Lorraine S. Magazeno of Hardyston Twp., NJ. Loving grandfather of Thomas Roy, Julianne, Cathy Mary, Maribell and Paulette. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 9 to 11 AM. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday at 11:15 AM to St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, NJ for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Interment to follow on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 11 AM at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY Memorial gifts to Karen Ann Quinlan Memorial Foundation, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860 www.KarenAnnQuinlanHospice.org would be appreciated.
