Lafayette: Past Fire Chief of Vernon Township Alan Parker Nagle, 77, passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at the Morris Hills Center, Morristown, NJ. Alan was born and raised in Vernon Township on August 5, 1939 to the late C. Edward and Mary (nee Parker) Nagle. Alan was a longtime resident of Vernon and a resident of Lake Neepaulin and the past 10 years in Lafayette.

Alan was a past Fire Chief and member of the Vernon Township Fire Company #1 for 58 years and was a Exempt Firemen. He was employed with the Vernon Township Road Department for 31 years retiring in 2002
.
Alan is survived by his loving wife Carmella (nee Ciaramelli) Nagle, and his children; Susan Kolaritsch, Robert, Russell, Rick, and Randy and his 10 grandchildren, and his sibilings, Beverly Storms and Anthony Nagle.

Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday November 20th from 2-5pm at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vander Hoof Ct.)and are invited to attend funeral service on Monday November21st at 11AM at the funeral home, committal interment services at Clove Cemetery, Wantage Township, NJ.
