Obituary for Joan Margaret Flynn (Kevlin)

Ogdensburg, NJ: Joan Margaret Flynn(nee Kevlin), 83 years old, died after a long illness at Andover Subacute and Rehab Center in Andover on Friday, January 13, 2017. Born to William and Henrietta Kevlin in New York City, NY, she had lived in New York City before moving to Ogdensburg, NJ in 1971.

Joan worked as a customer service representative for Bell Telephone in New York City for many years and then worked as a bank teller for Anchor Bank in Sparta, NJ for 10 years retiring in 1992. She enjoyed gardening and volunteered for the Sussex County Meals on Wheels program.

Joan is predeceased by her son, Thomas William Flynn(1990) and is the beloved wife of Thomas P. Flynn of Ogdensburg, NJ. Devoted mother of Eileen Wolfe and her husband, Timothy of Ogdensburg, NJ and Patrick Flynn of Ogdensburg, NJ. Loving grandmother of Laura and her husband, Timothy and Megan. Great grandmother of Brendan.
