Vernon; Raymond Diaz, 84, Passed away at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ on Tuesday July 18, 2017. Raymond was born on August 22, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Raymond and Frances ( Vasquez) Diaz and for the last 6 years was a resident of Vernon, NJ.

Raymond was employed for 45 years with ITT in Clifton, NJ as a Communications Manager retiring in 1983.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Frances Diaz and a brother, Joseph Manteiga.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (nee Arguelles) Diaz, his daughters, Toni Gunes and her husband, Nuri of Vernon, and Renee Diaz of Vernon, and his two grandsons, Frank Mondella and Nuri Gunes, and his sister, Antonia Manteiga of Vernon.
