Frankford Twp., NJ: Joan M. Franek(nee Feinberg), 79 years old, died after a short illness at The Homestead in Frankford Twp., NJ on Monday, August 28, 2017. Born to Herman and Anne Feinberg in Dover, NJ, she had lived in Dover and Franklin before moving to Frankford Twp., NJ 5 years ago.

Joan worked as a secretary at the explosives lab at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover and also at McGregor Co. in Dover that manufactured men’s and boy’s clothing. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved her chocolate ice cream and shakes.

Joan is predeceased by her husband, John B. Franek(2013) and is the devoted mother of Richard Franek and his wife, Miriam of Lodi, NJ, Barbara Franek and her long time partner, Helen Gonzalez of Flanders, NJ. Loving grandmother of Michelle, Jennifer, James, Sabrina and Lucero. Great Grandmother of Katrina, Makayla, Laila, Jose, Kaius and Aries. Dear sister of Robert Feinberg and his wife, Gloria of Wesley Chapel, FL. Aunt of Sharon Oliver and Michael Feinberg.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10;00 AM. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., NJ.
