Beemerville, NJ: Gordon Allen Jennings, Sr., 77 years old, died after a long illness at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, NJ on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Born to Everett and Helen Jennings in Phillipsburg, NJ, he lived in Hainesville, NJ before moving to Beemerville, NJ 51 years ago.

Gordon owned and operated Beemerville Auto Wrecking Inc. for 51 years. He was an Exempt Member of the Beemerville Fire Department and a member of the Sussex Elks Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, flea markets, car shows, stock car racing and was an avid Yankee fan!

Gordon is predeceased by his wife, Lillian Jennings(2004) and a brother, Donald Jennings(1972) and survived by daughters, Wendy Jennings and her partner, Mick of Beemerville, NJ, Lisa Casterlin and her husband, Thomas of Lafayette, NJ, and sons, Gordon A. Jennings, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Beemerville, NJ and Cory Jennings and his wife, Bridget of Beemerville, NJ. Dear companion of Helen Gardner of Beemerville, NJ. Loving grandfather of Hailey, Jason, Gabby and Megan Jennings, Amy and Tim Praschil, Joshua, Chad, Molly, Peter and Mikey. Great grandfather of Layla, Reese, Sophia, Briar and Giuliana.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Beemerville Cemetery.
