Vernon Township; Eileen Ann Christensen, 78, passed away on Monday January 1, 2018 at the Care One at Madison, Morristown, NJ. Eileen was born on June 12, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Thomas and Mary (nee Walsh) Curran, and then moving to Vernon Township in 1971.

Eileen was a legal secretary for American Cyanamid Corp., and Pfizer Com., Wayne, NJ for 22 years retiring 11 years ago. Eileen was a great homemaker and took great care of her family.

Eileen was predeceased by her two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Sverre, and her children, Elizabeth Huff and her husband David of Lafayette, John Christensen and Kara Acosta and her husband Fred of Rockaway, and two grandchildren, Mia and Liam, and a sister, Mary Murphy, and a niece, Mary Elizabeth Murphy and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends will be received on Friday January 5th from 5-8PM with services at 8PM at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ.
