Obituary for Leonard Beer

Martinsville: Leonard D. Beer, 79, passed away on Sunday February 4, 2018. Leonard was born on November 24, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Leonard and Mildred (nee Smith) Beer. Leonard was a resident of Pennsylvania and the last couple of years in Martinsville, NJ.

Leonard was the owner operator of Barons Packaging Company in Edison, NJ.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Warren Beer.

Leonard is survived by his children; Jennifer Stevens of Vernon, Jeffrey Beer of Vernon and Jeremy Beer of Martinsville, and his two grandchildren Zachary and Juliana-Faith, and his former wife Paulette Beer of Vernon, and a sister, Laverne O’Connor of Oakland and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday Feb. 8th from 7-9PM at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct), and are invited to attend funeral services on Friday Feb. 9th at 10AM at the Christian Faith Fellowship Church 3188 Rt. 94, Franklin, NJ, committal service at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to, the Shriners Hospital for Children or the American Heart Association For directions and condolences see www.fergusonfuneralhomesnj.com.
