Oak Ridge: Joseph F. Burr, 79 died Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Dover. Mr. Burr, son of the late William and Lucille Burr was born in Plainfield March 3, 1938. He resided in Lake Intervale, Parsippany for many years before moving to the Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Twp. in 1976.

Mr. Burr worked at Marrotta Scientific in Boonton for 30 years and later worked at the Picatinny Arsenal Golf Course for another 20 years. He served in the US Army from 1956 to 1963.

He is survived by his wife Sheila; children, Michele Watson of Franklin and Jody F. Burr of Oak Ridge and 2 granddaughters, Danielle and Lauren Watson.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday February 12, 2018 at 7:00PM at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin with memorial visitation prior to the service from 4-7PM.
