Stockholm, NJ: Martha B. Gonnoud(nee Van Tassel), 79 years old, was granted her angel wings while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Born to John and Martha Van Tassel in Franklin, NJ, she had lived in Hardyston Twp. and Wantage before moving to the Stockholm section of Hardyston Twp., NJ 38 years ago.

Martha worked as a supervisor at Morley Shirt Company, Franklin, NJ for several years. She left Morley's to do the most important and rewarding job to her, as a loving mother and wife. She was a member of the Franklin First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, puzzles, swimming, gardening and outdoor activities. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her warm smile and loving heart will be cherished forever.

Martha is predeceased by a daughter Tammie and a daughter in law, Deb Gonnoud, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. For 47 years she has been the beloved wife of Arthur Gonnoud. Proud mother of William Gonnoud of Wantage Twp., NJ, Stacy Knapp and her husband, John of Succasunna, NJ and Melissa Fanuel and her husband, Doug of Hamburg, NJ. Loving grandmother of Dylan, Tylar, Matthew, William, Drake and Amanda. Dear sister of Beverly Wiley, Gloria Heggie, Joanne Hicok, Jerry Van Tassel and Debra Van Tassel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends will be received at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-8:30 PM. Funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 8:30 PM. Cremation is private.
