Wurtsboro, NY; Helen A. Brophy, 74, passed away on Thursday March 1, 2018. Helen was born in Paterson, New Jersey on January 8, 1944 to the late Harry and Helen (nee Doerwald) Oldham. Helen has been a resident of Wurtsboro the last 38 years.

Helen was a Unit Clerk for 19 years at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, New York retiring in September 2017. Helen enjoyed going to the casinos and playing bingo.

Helen was predeceased by her parents and her four brothers.

Helen was the beloved wife for 49 years to Richard, and the mother of Jeffrey Kientzler and his wife Anita of Dingsman Ferry, Pa, and Helen Heavey and her husband Brian of Hamburg, and the grandmother of Amanda, Jessica, Jerry, Richie, Jeffrey Jr., Kennedi, and Isla, and great grandmother of Ryan, Silas and Emelia, and sister of Harry Oldham and his wife Chrissy of Manahawkin and Anne Vander Muelen and her husband George of Highland Lakes and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
