Obituary for James G. Schamble Jr.
Scenic Lakes; James G. Schamble Jr., 64, passed away on Sunday April 29, 2018 at his home. James was born on January 14, 1954 in Paterson, NJ to the late James G. Schamble Sr. and Ann Louise (nee Lenny) Schamble. James was a longtime resident of Vernon Township.
James served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a Deer Butcher for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA).
James was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Edward Schamble.
James is survived by his children, JoAnn Schamble of Tobyhanna,PA, James G. Schamble III and his wife Leesa of Hamburg, George Schamble and his wife Jennifer of Wanaque and Kathe Chamberlain of Vernon, and his 8 grandchildren, and his two sisters, Luann Snell and her husband Russ of West Milford and Chickie Curtiss and her husband Ron of Georgia, and his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday May 5th from 2-4pm with services at 4pm at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vander Hoof Court).
