Vernon Twp., NJ: Marilyn Ann Tell(Russo), 61 years old, died after a long illness at her home on Thursday, May 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Michael and Mildred Russo in Newark, NJ, she had lived in Roselle Park and Kearny, NJ before moving to Vernon Twp., NJ in 1999.

Marilyn received her BA in Business from Kean University and then worked as a manager for Bradlees Stores in Clark and Hackensack, NJ. She then worked as a teacher’s aide for the Vernon Twp Board of Education, retiring in January of 2017. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafting and painting. Marilyn was a dedicated wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Marilyn is predeceased by her sister, Christina Memoli and is the beloved wife for 28 years of William M. Tell of Vernon Twp., NJ. Devoted mother of Allycia Sorensen and her husband, Matt of Vernon Twp., NJ, Meghan and Christa Tell both at home. Loving grandmother of Elliora Sorensen. Step mother of Steven and Michael Tell of North Carolina. Dear sister of Michelle Russo-Wood of Vernon Twp., NJ, Thomas Russo of Jacksonville, FL and Stephen Russo of Whitehouse Station, NJ.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 2-6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis deSales RC Church, Vernon Twp., NJ. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, NJ.
