Franklin, NJ: Mark A. Garrera, 26 years old, lost his fight against addiction on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Born to Frank and Maria Garrera in Dover, NJ, Mark has been a lifelong resident of Franklin, NJ.

Mark was a graduate of Wallkill Valley Regional High School and Lincoln Technical School where he became a diesel mechanic. Mark was a self employed mechanic and completed his Fire School Training for the Franklin Fire Department. Mark was best known for working on cars, motorcycles and atv’s where he found his peace. Always willing to help anyone with their mechanical issues.

Mark is predeceased by his father, Frank Garrera(Sept., 2011). Survived by his wife, Nicole Skellenger of Franklin, NJ. Loving father of Mila Garrrera. Devoted son of Maria Garrera and Jim Hamilton of Franklin, NJ. Dear brother of Kristina Garrera and her fiancé, Nick Boyle of Catonsville, MD. Loving grandson of Ken and Maria Wetzel of Stockholm, NJ and Frank and Pat Garrera of Franklin, NJ. Step brother of Kaitlyn and Michael Hamilton. Nephew of John and Karen Garrera.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5-8 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 9 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ at 10 AM. Interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
