Childhood memories at High Crest Lake
Gussie and Jeff I am so sorry about your dads passing he was such a big part of our child hood memories in HCL. Fred was the coolest guy to know he had a rare Datsun 240/260Z in bright orange that he would let us ride in the back with the hatch open on our way to the beach to go sailing. He had sweet Sony 32" console TV with a laser disc player and the first Microwave oven I ever saw (back in 77') He always let the kids take in the occasional stray cat and after a long day at work he would come home and not get too upset with the trashed kitchen from Jeff and I having a lenonade stand that day. Also I remember the synchronized swimming show at the Sapper's pool where Fred was "Batman" and the kids were the henchmen. So many memories. He was a Rock Star back then, sorry we lost touch. Gussie and Jeff again my deepest sympathy and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
