Obituary for Cpl. Alexander Ford Buccieri - USMC

CAMP PENDLETON, CA: Cpl. Alexander Ford Buccieri – USMC, 22 years old, died on Saturday April 6, 2013 in Oceanside, CA. He is survived by his loving wife Christine Buccieri and soon to be born son. Also survived by his parents, Dan and Natalie Buccieri of Vernon and Jeff Corr of West Virginia, his siblings Ariana, Josh & Melody. His grandparents Ed and Taisa Engelsman, Jack and Linda Corr, Marion Buccieri, Sam and Lucy Buccieri and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Alex was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, based at Camp Pendleton. As part of HMLA – 369 he had been twice deployed to Afghanistan. He was an Airframer, supporting the flights of AH-1W Cobras and UH-1Y Hueys. Alex was always quick with a smile or joke and he was dearly loved by all those that knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service 3:00 pm on Sunday April 14, 2013 at the Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 3188 Route 94 Hardyston Twp. (for GPS directions use the town of Franklin, NJ 07416). Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday April 13, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Graveside Interment services will be held Monday 10:00 am at Glenwood Cemetery Rt. 517 Vernon Twp. (meeting directly at the cemetery). In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made towards Alex’s son’s care. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home Vernon, NJ.
