Obituary for Florence Yurchak (Czenowski)

Franklin, NJ: Florence Yurchak(nee Czesnowski), 83 years old, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Barn Hill Care Center, Newton, NJ after a brief illness. Born to the late Michael and Tessie(nee Basilewicz) Czenowski on February 27, 1929 in Franklin, NJ where she was a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Yurchak graduated from Franklin High School in 1947 and married the love of her life, the late Peter Yurchak in May 1948, together they raised 6 children. Florence was an accomplished painter and crafter as well as a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin. Florence was also a member of the Polish American Eagles.

Florence was predeceased by her husband, Peter Yurchak, a son, Thomas Yurchak, a daughter, Suzie Yurchak, a sister, Irene Ross and a brother, Walter Czesnowski and was the devoted mother of Janet Curry and her husband, Ron Robinson of Matamoras, PA, James Yurchak at home in Franklin, Mark Yurchak of Montague, NJ and Beth Bottigliere and her husband, Bruce of Sewell, NJ. Mother in law of Linda Yurchak of Mt. Arlington, NJ. Cherished by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 1-5 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ at 11:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Memorial gifts to Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council, 133 Spring Street, Newton, NJ 07860, www.Scahc.org would be appreciated.
