Hardyston: William J. Quinn 85 died Monday March 12, 2012 at Newton Medical Center. Mr. Quinn, son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Leninger) Quinn was born in Brooklyn, NY March 15, 1926. He resided in Vernon and Wantage, moving to Hardyston in 1982.

Mr. Quinn retired from SCARC in 1993 where he was Associate Executive Director of Business Affairs. He was a WW II United States Navy Veteran.

Mr. Quinn was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Lucy Quinn in 2010 and a brother Arthur Quinn. He is survived by his children; Diane Quinn, William Quinn & his wife Tricia and Karen Uptegrove & her husband Pieter; sister, Margaret Krakowski; grandchildren, Michael Gibisser, Kristen & Eric Hanusek, Catherine Quinn and William R. Quinn as well as many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 16, 2012 at 9:15AM from F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin to Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin for a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Lyndhurst.
