Obituary for Anne M. Yurchak (Sim)

Hardyston Twp: Anne M. Yurchak, 84 died Thursday December 17, 2015 at her home in Hardyston. Mrs. Yurchak was born September 15, 1931 in Newark, NJ and has been a resident of Hardyston Twp. for the past 62 years.

Mrs. Yurchak was a Registered Nurse. She worked at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson and Franklin Hospital before later retiring from Andover Nursing Home where she worked for 15 years. Mrs. Yurchak was a founding member and parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle RC Church in Hamburg.

She was predeceased by her parents, John & Olive Sim and her adoptive mother, Frances H. Sim as well as 3 children, Eileen Yurchak in 1973, Patricia Yurchak in 1999 and John Yurchak in 2012. Mrs. Yurchak is survived by her husband of 62 years, Stephen M. Yurchak; children, Stephen Yurchak, Jr. & his wife Doris of Hardyston Twp. and Linda Opt Hof & her husband Jan of Hardyston Twp.; sister & brothers, Barbara Yurchak of Franklin, John Sim of Wantage, Robert Sim of Washington Twp. and William Sim of West Orange; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and numerous nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 21, 2015 at 9:15AM from F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin to St. Jude The Apostle RC Church, Hamburg for a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Franklin. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5PM. Memorial donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association – WEB P.O. Box 97075 Washington, DC 20077-7258.
