Leesburg, FL: John William Raperto age 59, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away at his home on November 8th, 2015. He was born in Norwalk, Connecticut on October 29th, 1956. John and his family moved to Franklin, NJ where he was a proud resident for over 50 years.

Known as “John John” by many, he attended and graduated from Franklin High school, was a volunteer of the Franklin Fire Department, and a life time member of the Wallkill Valley First Aid Squad. His passion and pride for volunteer work within the community has been passed down to his nephews Jimmy and Michael Raperto.

John is survived by his loving wife Roseanne Raperto; his three step daughters Emma, Sandi, and Jennifer; his three grandsons Justin, Ethan, and Bryan; his siblings Joanne, Joseph, and James; and his many beautiful nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his beloved parents Joseph and Joan Raperto.

Memorial visitation will be held at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin NJ on Saturday, January 2nd, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Memorial service will commence at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The Franklin Fire Department will hold a special fireman’s service at 2:30 pm.
