Andover: Alline “Shirley” Edwards, 79 died Tuesday May 23, 2017 at Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Edwards, daughter of the late James and Sadie (Smith) Flood was born in Vernon Twp. and was a lifelong resident of Franklin.

Mrs. Edwards was a farmer and home aide. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed crocheting.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Edwards in 1975, stepsons, Leroy and Joseph Edwards and brothers & sisters, James Flood, Almeda Lewis, Herman Flood, Rachel Crassie, Michael Flood and Maude Williams. She is survived by a brother William Flood of Port Jervis, NY.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday May 26, 2017 at 11:00AM at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Frankllin. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
