Condolences

Condolence From: Debora Bailey
Condolence: My heart goes out to the Gillis family and friends of Matthew in your time of sorrow. I know Matthew has left you with many precious memories from his 25 way too short years with you all. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Jesus with the help of Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) God promises the only one who does not lie (Titus1:2) that we will see Matthew and our loved ones again by means of a resurrection (John 5:28, 29). I hope the Gillis family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection. Our loving heavenly Father, "Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." The Gillis family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. For more comforting and encouraging scriptures on the resurrection, please visit jw.org.
