Hardyston Twp.; Millicent Deckhut, 92, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Millicent was born in Elizabeth on January 18, 1926 to the late William N. and Jennie S. (nee Smith) Hagin. She was a longtime resident of Cranford and the last 17 years in Hardyston Twp.

Millicent was an Executive Secretary at the Reichold Chemical Company, Elizabeth, NJ for 40 years retiring many years ago. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin. Millicent enjoyed her family, New York City, Broadway shows and being in the garden.

Millicent was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Henry Robert Deckhut, her son, Keith Robert Deckhut, and her sister, Rosa A. Hagin.

Millicent is survived by her daughter, Susan Killacky of Hardyston Twp., and her beloved grandchildren, TJ and Christopher Killacky, Emily and Kyle Stickle and Rob and Tracy Deckhut.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Thursday, March 8th from 4-7:30PM with a 7:30PM funeral service.
