Obituary for Robert Joseph Shuppon
Highland Lakes: Robert J. Shuppon, 77 died Monday March 5, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center. Mr. Shuppon, son of the late Joseph and Emily (Blewett) Shuppon was born in Franklin January 26, 1941. Mr. Shuppon grew up in Franklin and later resided, for most of his life, in the Highland Lakes section of Vernon.
Mr. Shuppon attended the US Naval Academy and served with the US Navy from 1960 – 1964, during the Vietnam Era. He was a Communications Technician for AT&T at their High Point location until his retirement. In his retirement, Mr. Shuppon was an avid fisherman.
Mr. Shuppon is survived by his wife Beverly (Miceli) Shuppon; children, Diane Parak & her husband John of Highland Lakes and Robert M. Shuppon & his wife Jo Ann of Glenwood; sister, Joanne Labance & her husband Bill of Vernon as well as his grandchildren, Brittany Parak, Lauren Parak and Ryan Kate Shuppon.
