Franklin Borough; Alan Wayne Fischer, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Alan was born in Jersey City on July 28, 1942 to the late Henry and Mary (Woods) Fischer.

Alan was a self-employed Chauffeur for over 40 years, retiring in 2014.

Alan is survived by his loving wife, Claudette, of 29 years, and his children Michael Fischer and his wife Diane of Rockaway, Michelle Fischer of Rockaway and his step children, Tammy Cicchetti and her husband Chris of Hackettstown, Melissa Van Orden of Branchville and Cathy Regenthal and her husband Kurt of Green Township and his four grandchildren, Juliana, Abby, Daniel and Nicole.

All services were privately held.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, NJ Chapter, 14 Commerce Drive, Cranford, NJ 07016.
