Vernon Twp: Agnes C. Longano, 84 died Wednesday November 14, 2018 at her home in Vernon surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Longano, daughter of the late George and Agnes (Bushong) Cunningham was born in The Bronx, NY August 28, 1934. She had resided in West New York, NJ before moving to Vernon Twp 40 years ago.

Mrs. Longano was an avid Mahjong player. She truly enjoyed travelling with her family on vacation.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Mrs. Longano was predeceased by her beloved husband Phillip A. Longano in 2007 and a brother George Cunningham. Mrs. Longano is survived by her devoted children; Donna Trudgen of Wantage, Phillip Longano & his wife Helen of Wylie, TX, Kathleen Senor of Vernon, Patricia Murphy & her husband Robert of Wharton and Mary Ann Longano & her husband James Brown of Wallkill, NY; 9 cherished grandchildren; loving sister Patricia Buongiorno of Warwick, NY and she was the caring aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 19, 2018 at 9:45AM from Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.) Vernon to St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Vernon for a 10:30AM Mass of Christian Burial. Private cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5PM.
