Obituary for John Robert "Boulder and Little John" Holland Jr.

Franklin, NJ: John “Boulder and Little John” Robert Holland, Jr., 62 years old, died after a long battle with sickness at Newton Medical Center on Friday, November 16, 2018. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he had lived in Lodi before moving to Franklin 24 years ago.

John was a boilermaker for Tri-Tech Energy, Inc. in Boonton, NJ most recently but held many positions before that such as a security specialist at Butterfields and actively working with Lodi politics. John attained the rank of Eagle Scout while in his Lodi Boy Scout Troop, was a member of the NRA, was an EMT and member of the Lodi Ambulance Squad, was a treasure hunter with the East Coast Research and Discovery Association, an avid ham radio operator and enjoyed ATVing, motorcycle riding, paintballing, RC cars and drones, hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors.

John is predeceased by his mother, Rosemarie Holland(2011), a brother, William Holland(2018) and is the dear brother of Kriss Holland and his wife, Donna of Milford, PA, Michael Holland of Milford, PA, David C. Holland of Milford, PA and Ginamarie Vitrano and her husband, George of Vernon Twp., NJ. Cherished by 11 nieces and nephews and 6 grandnieces and grandnephews.

Private cremation by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ. Memorial Mass will be Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ. Memorial gifts to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851 would be appreciated.
