Family and friends you have my deepest sympathy. This is a difficult time for most. There are basic things that can help anyone get through the pain no matter what age, gender or religious beliefs. Many have been helped with the twelve basics or just a few. You can go to jw.org and get the basics with no cost ever. See the article “Help for those who grieve “ in the magazine section. Anyone can get help and comfort.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your Husband. I know that losing a mate suddenly can be difficult. What has helped me is the hope given in the Bible at Jo 5:28,29 where God will remember our dead loved ones and will bring them back to life on earth. Ps 37:11,29 Imagine the day when there are no more tears of sorrow and death and pain I’ll be gone forever. Rev 21:3,4 May you find comfort in these promises. https://tv.jw.org/#en/mediaitems/VODMinistryTools/pub-imv_4_VIDEO

I just learned today of Bill's passing. I didn't make it to church this Sunday and didn't find out till this morning of his passing. Very saddened and shocked. Bill was with me for the 14 hour trip to Alabama and back. I learned a lot about cows that trip. When we got there Bill and I were also helpers in the kitchen together. He also helped out with the Cadet's pine wood derby for many years and we thank him for that. Terri, you and your family are in my prayers. Don Kievit

Bill, you signed my pay checks for 20 years. you kept up with the always-changing, record keeping requirements and government regulations. you were a caring presence as a deacon while serving on the Sussex CRC council. you always had a friendly smile, an encouraging word, a tidbit of information, and a positive perspective. you asked me about my hawk-watching on sunrise mountain. you were a reflection of God's image just by being yourself. you were a means of God's grace to me and to many. Whatever you did was always well-organized and ready in advance. And so, while your absence from us here is so deeply felt, we know that you have merely gone ahead to be with Jesus our Faithful Savior in whose presence we will meet again. I am so saddened to hear about Bill’s passing. I have known Mr. Garris since I was a child, where he’d either come to the farm for work or he’d be at our 4-H meetings. In the recent years I always enjoyed our conversations each summer at the fair. Bill was such an amazing man, a man who served and always helped others. He will be greatly missed and thought about often.
