I can't begin to tell you how many interactions I'd had with Mr Scott atthe Paul Weiss store and then becoming the owner himself. I bought all my class uniforms for Immaculate Conception there..And all the jeans or any Jean (for that matter) that I would have ever needed in my life was purchased at that store. He was always a constant presence for my shopping experiences. Always asking about the family. He was very well-liked and very well respected. The community lost a good man. May his head rest peacefully on God's pillow always. My deepest condolences

Dear Dick, Dave, and Peggy, I was so saddened to read of Bill's death and also to read that John has also died. They were both such nice people and did so much for their families and community. We all had a great time growing up together and enjoying the golf course, the pond, and the music of Franklin. Wish I could have been there to see the three of you and give you a hug. I remember how much it meant to me that Dick and Dave came to Dad's funeral many years ago. I have multiple videos of your Mom and some of you as kids that my Grandfather took in the 30's and 40's. If you have an interest in seeing them, just email me and we will send them to you. I will be probably be coming to Franklin in the Fall with my brother Bob for a trip down memory lane and will call Dick and Dave to see if we can get together for lunch. Sincerely, Barbara Haight Shoemaker Way. P.S. My husband spent many years at a canoe camp on Lake Temagami and still returns to that area often. I have been there once with him and thought of Peggy as we visited relatives in Toronto.
