Hardyston Twp., NJ: Suzanne Elizabeth Gavin, 69 years old, died after a short illness at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Born to William and Claire Gavin in Brighton, MA, she was raised and lived there before moving to North Carolina and Livingston, NJ before moving to Hardyston Twp., NJ in 1991.

Suzanne received her BA in Education from Montclair and her MA in Theater from Kean College. She was a high school teacher at DePaul High School, Wayne, NJ for many years retiring in 2013. Suzanne was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoyed playing Bingo.

Suzanne is predeceased by a sister, Judith Gavin(2009) and is the dear sister of Moira Gavin of New Hope, PA, Paula Gavin-Raval of New Hope, PA, Annie Gavin of Laurel, DE, Christine Gavin of Estero, FL and William Gavin, Jr. of Matawan, NJ. Loving aunt of Liam Gavin, Kyle and Claire Gavin and Kieran Gavin-Raval.

Private cremation services by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. Memorial service will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, NJ at 10:30AM. Memorial gifts to a favorite educational charity would be appreciated.
