Obituary for Kirby Ray Spicer

Kawkawlin, MI: Kirby Ray Spicer, 70 years old, died unexpectedly in Hardyston Twp., NJ on Monday, May 27, 2019. Born to Gerald and Margie Spicer in Bellefonte, PA, he had lived in Ogdensburg, NJ before moving to White Lake, MI and settled in Kawkawlin, MI 21 years ago.

Kirby earned his BA in Marketing from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio then served with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as the Director of Finance for Rescue Missions of Mid Michigan in Saginaw, MI for the last 4 years. Kirby was e member of the Fraser Road Church of God in Kawkawlin, MI and enjoyed playing golf, fishing and travelling. He was a Train buff and enjoyed the full size versions as well as creating his own “N”gauge sets.

Kirby is predeceased by a sister, Jerri Lynn Kerr and is the beloved husband for 50 years of Jacqueline R. Spicer(nee Rembold) of Kawkawlin, MI. Devoted father of Gerald Spicer and his wife, Lynda of Hardyston Twp., NJ. Loving grandfather of Frederick and Kristen. Dear brother of Rick Spicer of Stow, OH and Stacey Spicer of Port Matilda, PA. Brother in law of Ray Rembold of Florida.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Fraser Road Church of God, 2755 Fraser Road, Kawkawlin, MI. Burial of cremains will be at Advent Cemetery, Milesburg, PA at a later date. Private cremation services by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ.
