Obituary for Carol L. Bicsak
February 19, 1948 – August 28, 2019
Carol Davenport Bicsak, 71, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed into eternal life in peace on August 28th, 2019, surrounded by her family at home.
Born in Orange, NJ to the late Russell and Marion Davenport, she lived most of her life in Hamburg, NJ and moved to Port Charlotte, FL approximately 15 years ago.
Carol was active with her businesses, Down to Earth Apparel and Gifts and Carol Bicsak Photography. She was also involved with various charitable organizations and non-profit fund raisers, such as care packages for Senior Citizens in need, Alzheimer’s Association funds and Animal Rescue. She enjoyed the outdoors, relaxing on the beach, riding bikes and gardening.
Carol is predeceased by her parents and is survived by her husband of 53 years, Paul Bicsak; her three children, Karen Bicsak of Huntington, LI, Paul Bicsak and wife Robin of Franklin, NJ, and Brian Bicsak of Florence, CO; sister, Shirley Mackerley of Lakeland, FL, and brothers, Russell Davenport of Ogdensburg, NJ, and Alan Davenport of Dingmans Ferry, PA. She is also survived by her two twin grandsons, David and Brad Bicsak.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2019; 11AM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. Memorial visitation will take place from 10 to 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a cancer research or animal rescue charity of your choosing.
