Obituary for Robert Ford Paddock
Robert Ford Paddock, Sr., age 84 of Hamburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his caring family.
Born and raised in Franklin to the late Joseph Ford and Lula (Sharpe) Paddock, Robert worked as a foreman with Ames Rubber Corp. for 39 years.
A sports fanatic, Robert was very active in Franklin High School sports in his youth, achieving all state in football and baseball. He was a member of the Wallkill Country Club Golf Course for thirty years, where he earned two hole-in-ones.
Predeceased by his parents, Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mabel (Trevena); son Robert Ford and his wife Jill of Hamburg; grandson Robert Ford Paddock III and his fiancé Alexis Fitzgerald of Phillipsburg; an aunt, Jannive Stanley of Ashville, NC; and finally, his beloved grand-dogs, Paddy, Joey, Buddy, and Neeko.
Arrangements for Robert are private and under the direction of F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation 350 Sparta Avenue, Bldg B; Suite 2, Sparta, NJ 07871 .
