Barry Lakes, NJ: Emil Schillaci, 82 years old, passed away with his family by his side at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Warwick, NY on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Born to Nicholas and Pauline Schillaci in Passaic, NJ, he lived in Oak Ridge, NJ before moving to the Barry Lakes section of Vernon Twp., NJ in 2010.
Emil worked as a truck driver for many years retiring from Amco Folding Cartons in Towaco, NJ in 2004. Emil was an avid CB and ham radio operator and took great joy in maintaining his lawn and sitting outside enjoying the wonders of nature especially the local animals that visited his home.
Emil is predeceased by his wife, Elisabeth Schillaci(2014) and his son, Emil Schillaci, Jr.(2009) and is the devoted father of Debra Shelly and her husband, John of Highland Lakes, NJ. Loving grandfather of Danielle Marines and her husband, Jason of Hardyston Twp., NJ and Kayla Shelly and her boyfriend, Bradley Pindyck of Hardyston Twp., NJ. Cherished great grandfather of Josie Marines. Brother of John Schillaci of West Milford, NJ. Faithful friend of Goldie.
