Obituary for Douglas Paddock
Douglas Paddock, age 63 of Hardyston Twp., passed away on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at the Newton Medical Center, following a sudden illness.
Born in Flushing, Queens to the late William and Doris (Hlavenka) Paddock, Doug grew up in Bloomingdale, NJ. He graduated Butler High School and SUNY Delhi, after which he began his career as a mechanical designer. Doug worked for the Aircraft Radio and Control Division of Cessna, American Design Corp., Becton Dickinson and Co., and most recently, The Whole Package LLC, and HS Design, Inc.
A loving husband and father, Doug liked watching his son’s soccer games and cross country meets. He also enjoyed hiking and astronomy.
Predeceased by his parents, Doug is survived by his wife, Diane Murray and their son, Nick Paddock. He is also survived by his brother, Gary and his wife Sharon Paddock.
Memorial visitation for Doug will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 1-4PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416.
