Obituary for Keith T. Van Orden
Keith T. Van Orden, age 67 of Lake Neepaulin, passed away on Sunday, March 1st, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Newton to the late Dean and Elva (Dyer) Van Orden, Keith was a lifelong resident of Sussex County. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Sussex County DPW for thirty-seven years. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He was a member of the NRA and the Wanderers Car Club. Above all, he was a very proud grandfather.
Predeceased by his parents and his first wife, Jeannette (Lutz) Van Orden, Keith is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Kinney; daughter Shannon Keller and husband James of Sussex; granddaughter Kaitlyn Keller; stepdaughters Debra and Elsie Kinney, both of Sussex; and a brother, Les Van Orden and wife Connie of Branchville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Keith will be held on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020, from 10AM to 1PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ 07461. A funeral service will begin at 1PM at the funeral home. Burial in the Beemerville Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sussex Fire Department.
