Lafayette; Vera Cafiero, 85, passed away on Sunday September 27, 2020. Vera was born Frackville, PA and was a resident in Jersey City, Hasbrouck Heights, Bloomfield, Cedar Grove and Long Beach Island before settling in Lafayette. Vera was born on May 17, 1935 to Andrew and Mary (Patrick) Chowansky.
Vera was predeceased by her husband, John and her sister and brother-in-law Anna and Alex Kunigonis.
Vera is survived by her children, Stephen Cafiero and his wife Anne, Stephanie Pizzulo and her husband Robert, Dianne Scioscia, John Cafiero and his wife Glady, and Joseph Cafiero and his wife Catherine, and her 13 cherished grandchildren.
