The Sussex Federation sends our condolences to his family. Fred was a great friend of sportsmen and the Sussex County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs in particular. He donated the use of his Colorado cabin for a week of hunting so we could raffle it off at our annual dinners. He would pay club dues to the Sussex Federation even though the club was no longer active in the Fed. In March of 2007 he received our Robert E. Littell Conservation Award at our annual dinner. You could always stop by and get his opinion. You could often see his thoughts in the Letters to the Editor section of the NJ Herald. You would always be impressed by his experience and knowledge. It was a privilege to have known Fred. Dear Fred rest-in-peace.
