Obituary for Rose LaFlamme

Rose (Bragalia) LaFlamme, originally from Newark, most recently of Sparta, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 11, 2021. She was 96 years old, just two weeks shy of her 97th birthday on March 25.

She was a talented seamstress most of her life, working in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. She enjoyed crocheting and donated scarves, blankets and hats to nursing homes. She also won many ribbons at the state fairs. She loved spending time with her family and going to the casino.

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Giannone; her second husband Robert Stemmann; son Anthony Giannone; grandson Joseph Giannone; two brothers, Anthony and Joseph; and her 2 sisters Madeline and Caroline. Rose is survived by her husband Alfred LaFlamme; daughters Frances Beatty of Andover, and Camille Giannone and her husband Earl Gardner of Lake Hopatcong, who lovingly cared for her; and her son-in-law William Talmage. She is also survived by four granddaughters, twelve great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends for visitation at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin, NJ 07416 on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 1 - 5 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 15th, 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Franklin, NJ. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
