Obituary for Stanley William Hinton

Hamburg, NJ: Stanley William Hinton, 81 years old, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Born to Douglas and Jessie Hinton in Dover, NJ, he had lived in East Hanover, NJ, Hillsboro, NJ, Florida, Sparta, NJ and Neptune City, NJ before moving to Hamburg, NJ 4 years ago.

Stanley served with the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960 and worked as an Insurance Agent for Independent Financial Solutions in Matawan, NJ for many years. Stanley was a member of the Franklin American Legion Post # 132, the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Disabled American Veterans. He took great joy in dancing, vacations to Florida and Maine, cruises and cooking.

Stanley is predeceased by 2 brothers, Thomas and Jack Hinton and a step son, Robert Steven Zeuner(2013) and is the husband of Dolores Hinton of Hamburg, NJ. Father of William S. Hinton and his wife, Kathy of Inverness, FL, Todd Hinton and his wife, Theresa of Florham Park, NJ and Tracey Hilden of Florham Park, NJ. Step Father of Donna Zeuner-Lewis and her husband, Bruce of Franklin, NJ and Adrienne Zeuner-Bowden of Hamburg, NJ. Brother of Douglas Hinton of Hackettstown, NJ, Jean Pabst of The Villages, FL, Donald Hinton of Wildwood, FL and Gary Hinton of Saylorsburg, PA. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and a great grandson.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 12 Noon to 2 PM. Funeral service to commence at 2 PM. Due to government restrictions, a total of 100 people will be allowed in the funeral home at any one time and face coverings are required by all who enter. Interment to follow at Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sparta, NJ. Memorial gifts to the Franklin American Legion Post # 132, 1 Legion Place, Franklin, NJ 07416 would be greatly appreciated.
