Wantage Twp., NJ: Margaret Auche McCollum, 82 years old, passed away at Newton Medical Center on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Born to Steve and Tillie Auche in Franklin, NJ, she has lived in the area all her life.
Margaret was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved travelling to Florida with her daughter Connie to visit her niece, Joan and her husband, Paul, staying there for months at a time. Margaret enjoyed doing puzzles, going to Bingo and Casinos.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Robert McCollum(1985), her son, Robert McCollum(1985), her grandson, Eric Rubio(2021) and 8 brothers and sisters, Joseph, Steven, Frank and George Auche, Edith Colins, Lillian Hornyak, Mary Hornyak and Ruth Bognar and is the devoted mother of Margaret Zill and her husband, Daniel of Wantage Twp., NJ, Edward Dunay and his wife, Nona of Buena Vista, CA and Connie Dunay of Wantage Twp., NJ. Loving grandmother of Nicole, Thoma and her husband, Thomas of Wantage Twp., NJ, Danielle Barry and her husband, Ken of Wantage Twp., NJ, Angelica Ranieri and her husband, Matthew of PA, Samantha Struble and her husband, Grant of PA and Sara Halke of PA. Cherished by 15 great grandchildren.
Private cremation services under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be planned for a later date.
