I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Heinz. My prayers and sympathy to Maria and his loving family. Though I only knew Heinz for a short time,I will miss his kind, happy, and witty nature. He was helpful and shared wonderful parts of his life stories. He reflected once about being very pleased with his life and what he accomplished. How wonderful a sentiment. Not many people can have such a happy and and peaceful reflection. He will be greatly missed.! Pam Bevan

Heinz was a good and kind man and friend. He helped us so many times and David and I were always so grateful, and knew how lucky we were that he and Maria lived across the street. He was a burst of energy, too, clever and skillful and enthusiastic about whatever he did. I remember talking from New York to David in Florida via the computer and suddenly there was Heinz, eyes bright and smiling, and saying hello, he had come over to help David fix something (of course!) He was a rare human being, humane and constructive and full of interesting stories. David feels the loss sorely and we feel very bad for Maria, Heinz Jr., and Kathleen, to have to go forward without him. We won't forget him.

I fondly remember Uncle Heinz for helping me do a college paper by giving me a tour of Drake Bakery. He was also great at fixing the extended family cars. I will remember him for the great family man he was. Sending love to his family.
