Hardyston Twp, NJ: Burton H. Peer, 94, died Thursday May 13, 2021 at his home in the Stockholm section of Hardyston, with his family at his side. Mr. Peer, son of the late Burton H. and Pearl Peer, was born in Kenvil, NJ on September 15, 1926. Mr. Peer is predeceased by his loving wife, Viola Peer, loving daughter, Peggy Sue Babcock, and loving granddaughter, Casey Van Horn. He had been a lifelong resident of Hardyston. He retired from Baldwin Enterprises after many dedicated years as a truck driver.
Mr. Peer is survived by his children, Kathleen Peer of Wantage, Barbara Van Horn of Hardyston, Nancy Storms of Hardyston, Patricia Peer of Hardyston, Michael Peer of Hardyston, and grandson/son Kenneth Van Horn of Dingmans Ferry, Pa. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Mr. Burton H. Peer was a strong, loving, dedicated family man who will be miss beyond measure.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
