Franklin, NJ: Michael Joseph Radocne, 92 years old, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Monday, June 7, 2021. Born to Michael and Mary Radocne in Franklin, NJ, he has been a lifelong resident of Franklin, NJ.
Michael worked as a Radiologist at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover for many years retiring in 1993. Michael was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin, NJ. He enjoyed music and playing violin, mandolin and electric bass. He played with the “Gibsons” and the “Country Mountain Boys” and known by many in the area as the “Fiddler”.
Michael is predeceased by his wife, Lona Radocne(2011) and 2 brothers, Joseph Radocne(1999) and Andrew Radocne(2004) and is the devoted father of Dolores Reilly and her husband, Greg of Franklin, NJ and Michaelene Kuka and her husband, Richard of Greenville, NY. Loving grandfather of Katrina, Natalie and Felicia. Great grandfather of Madison, Mason, Chloe and Michael. Dear brother in law of Mary Radocne of Matamoras, PA and uncle of Joseph Radocne of PA.
The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 4-6 PM. Funeral service will be Monday, June 14, 2021 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., NJ. A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be scheduled for a later date.
