Obituary for Jonathan Tyler Fett

Jonathan Tyler Fett, amazing son and big brother, age 18 of Wantage, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 13th, 2021.

Born in Hackensack to Michael and Sandi (Pfeifer) Fett, Jonathan was a lifelong resident of Wantage and a senior at the Sussex County Technical School. Jonathan started working at a young age and had a very admirable work ethic. He was a farmhand at Brodhecker Farm in Hampton and the Katterman Farm in Wantage.

Jonathan will always be remembered as a great friend who was always willing to help anyone. He enjoyed working on cars and would even help his friends with any of their car problems. He loved animals, music, football, lacrosse, weightlifting, and fishing and deer hunting. He also liked playing Uno with his family and was infamous for cheating by hiding cards. Jonathan was excited to enlist in the United States Marine Corps to serve his country upon his high school graduation later this week.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Sandi (Pfeifer) Fett and father, Michael Fett; younger siblings Christopher, Kevin, Isabella, and Matthew Fett; grandparents Kenneth and Ginger Pfeifer and Steven and Kathy Fett; uncles Russ, Wayne, and Kurt Pfeifer; and aunts Bonnie Schwartz and Lisa Nicastro. He is also survived by his loving dog, Shelby.
