Obituary for Catherine Sabo
Catherine Sabo, age 62 of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 at her home.
Born in Franklin to the late Adam and Catherine (Piniaha) Sabo, Catherine was a lifelong resident. Catherine graduated from Franklin High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the Iowa Wesleyan University. She also participated in the Franklin Marching Band for many years. She worked over 20 years as an Appeals Examiner for the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Predeceased by her parents, Catherine is survived by her five siblings, Barbara and husband Dayton Gunderman of Franklin, Chris and wife Bernadette Sabo of Florham Park, Ed and wife Margaret Sabo of Franklin, Mike and wife Virginia Sabo of Hanover, PA, and Bill and wife Kirstin Sabo of Wantage. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, 12 grand nieces and nephews and 9 great grand nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Catherine will be held on Monday, July 12th, 2021 from 10AM to 12PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. Burial in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA (aspca.org/donate).
