Obituary for Nancy Altimari
Wantage Twp; Nancy M. Altimari, 88, passed away on Sunday October 10, 2021 in Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. Nancy was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 9, 1933 to Vito and Carolina (Mellone) Venezia.
Her early years were spent on Emerson Place in Brooklyn where she enjoyed her time spent with Saint Lucy's choir. In her early career she worked at various banks on Wall Street before becoming a fulltime wife and mother. She continued to use her professional skills in those years to manage the construction company she ran with her husband. Then she returned to the workforce as a bookkeeper for various companies, the longest time being at the gift shop of the Americana Resort in Vernon, NJ.
Nancy was married for 58 years to Vincent (Remigio), devoted mother to Vincent Altimari and Brigid(Donham) Marisa Kleva and Sandra Aprile and Serafino Aprile. Loving grandmother to six, Michelle,Sal, Justin,Marina, Nicholas and Anneliese. She is survived by sister Mary Savino, brother, Louis Venezia and sister-in-law Adele Venezia and predeceased by her brother Frank Venezia and sister, Connie Bulzomi
