Obituary for Connie Marie O'Dell (Little)
Vernon Twp., NJ: Connie Marie O’Dell(nee Little), 86 years old, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Born to William and Eva Little in Lafayette Twp., NJ, she lived in Hamburg, NJ before moving to Vernon Twp., NJ 67 years ago.
Connie was a Charter and Life Member of the Vernon Twp. VFW Post # 8441, a member of the Hamburg Baptist Church and a doting homemaker who took great joy in being home with her family, walks with her husband, canning, garage sales, antique and teddy bear collecting.
Connie is predeceased by a granddaughter, Alysia Bishop and 8 brothers and sisters and is the beloved wife of Eugene “Sam” O’Dell of Vernon Twp., NJ. Devoted mother of William Roy O’Dell of San Antonio, TX, Vickie Fiedler of Vernon Twp., NJ and Barry O’Dell and his significant other, Christine Savage of Budd Lake, NJ. Loving grandmother of Crystal, Jennifer, Kyle and Shannen. Great grandmother of Jocilyn and Kaden.
The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 2-5:30 PM. Memorial service to follow at 5:30 PM. THE FAMILY REQUESTS THAT ALL WHO ATTEND PLEASE WEAR FACE MASKS. Cremation and burial of cremains at Glenwood Cemetery are private. Memorial gifts to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be greatly appreciated.
