Obituary for Jean A. Quintiere

Jean (Joan) Quintiere, age 80 of Hardyston Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon.

Born in Paterson to the late John and Barbara (Oles) Earls, Jean grew up in Paterson, and lived for many years in the Cliffwood Lake community of Vernon before settling in Hardyston in 2000. A retired bus driver, Jean worked for Havens Bus Co. and, most recently, DW Clark and Son. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin. Jean enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and word puzzles. She was very generous and could be counted on by family members for an annual birthday or anniversary card.

Predeceased by her parents, and sisters, Sandra Kenyon and Linda D’Alessio, Jean is survived by her loving husband, Louis Quintiere; daughter Andrea Labonte of Bow, NH; son Joseph Quintiere of Franklin; grandchildren Elise and Luke Labonte; and sisters Barbara McGee, Joyce Buckley, and Patricia Earls; as well as many nieces and nephews.
