Obituary for Judy A. Sherlock
Judy Ann Sherlock, age 64 of Franklin, passed away on Friday, February 11th, 2022 at the Newton Medical Center.
Born in Franklin to Raymond and Mariann (Hemlock) Sweller, Judy had been a lifelong resident there. Always first to volunteer for anything, Judy held bake sales and hosted pasta parties for her sons’ sports teams, and helped with the Franklin Homeschool Association. She was a passionate cheerleader for her sons and never missed a sporting event of theirs. As a morning hobby, Judy loved doing crossword puzzles every day. Judy had also been bravely battling MS for over twenty-five years.
Predeceased by her father-in-law, John F. Sherlock, Judy is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Sherlock; sons Bryan Sherlock of Annapolis, MD and Matthew Sherlock and his fiancé, Kate Ruff of Franklin; grandson, Blake Carter Sherlock; brothers Raymond and wife Zenda Sweller and Tom and wife Debbie Sweller; and sister, Diane and husband Dan Crum. She is also survived by her parents, Raymond and Mariann Sweller; and her mother-in-law, Elizabeth J. Sherlock; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Judy will be held on Saturday, February 19th, 2022, from 12-4PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (nationalmssociety.org/Donate). Online condolences may be offered through www.fjohnramseyfuneralhome.com
